April Steenburgh is the pen name of Burdock Broughton (they/them). April lives on a small farm near the shore of Lake Ontario with a cunning little cat they found in a swamp (ed: Lies, the cat claimed her). That cat might be a witch. April has published multiple short stories, has released one collection, and does not intend on stopping any time soon.
When not writing, April balances time between making soaps as Twigloo Farms, providing academic support to students at a local community college as an English professor and eSports Coach, and trying to convince a small herd of alpaca and rowdy trio of goats to behave. The goats are winning.
